New Eastbridge Report Examines Commission
and Compensation Practices in Worksite Market.
AVON, CONNECTICUT, USA (April 11, 2006)
There’s no doubt that commission and compensation
plays a key role in attracting—and retaining—producers.
But what exactly are carriers doing today to gain a competitive
edge in this area? Are successful carriers providing more than
just commissions, like bonuses, benefits, etc. to capture the
producers’ attention?
Eastbridge’s latest spotlight report, Commission
and Compensation Practices in Worksite Marketing, gathered
data from 11 top worksite carriers to learn more about their
current practices and policies and to compare these findings
with a similar study conducted (by Eastbridge) in 2002. Specifically,
the study looks at such topics as:
- The commissions paid, by product line, for each carrier’s
worksite business
- The different commission schedules used and the individual/group
used to select the schedule for any given producer
- Enrollment compensation and its impact on commissions
paid
- Commission payments (i.e., advances vs. as-earned)
- Vesting of renewals
- Other types of compensation and/or bonuses available to
producers
- Benefits offered to producers
- Administrative practices used by carriers
With this data, carriers can compare their current commissions
and compensation practices with others in the market.
The report is now available for purchase for $4,000. Click

the 2005 study are eligible for a discount and can purchase
