Consulting Group Announces Release of Worksite MarketVision™ —The

The benefits
world continues to change, and employees appear to be more
educated as well as more experienced in choosing and buying
insurance. They look closely at the cost and value of each
product and want to understand exactly how the product

- Most employees don’t have a good sense
of what they are actually paying for their medical and other

- Medical insurance is still the most important
benefit to employees, but there was some change in the importance
of other product lines.
- Ownership of voluntary products has increased
substantially since 2002 when only 40 percent of employees
owned at least one voluntary product.

- How employees rank the importance of various
types of insurance
- How important “choice” in benefits
is to employees
- The percentage of employees who own at least
one voluntary product

how satisfied they are with the enrollment process
- What changes have occurred in employeesattitudes
about benefits over the past several years
