The past two studies conducted jointly between the Enroller Resource Center and Eastbridge Consulting Group uncovered gaps between what carriers and enrollers need and expect in regards to enrolling their voluntary products. The most recent study continues to uncover these gaps as well as highlight the mutual reliance between carriers/enrollment companies and enrollers. Today, enrollers want, above all, more stability from carriers, and carriers want quality enrollers who are consistently available.
The study, entitled Enrollers Speak: Are Carriers Listening?, was designed to help insurance carriers and other companies in the voluntary business better understand the needs of independent enrollers. Following are a few key findings from the report:
The study findings are based on responses from over 500 enrollers. Carriers can use the findings to fine-tune their policies and practices as they relate to enrollers as well as to improve the quality of their relationship with enrollers.
