Readiness Assessment
The process involves assessing each function in your voluntary operation and comparing it to our database of industry standards and specific voluntary competitors. The result is an unbiased and knowledgeable view of your current capabilities—those where you are strong and those where there are gaps. This forms our basis for making recommendations for improvement.
The process starts with an in-depth review of documents describing
your current process. From there, we conduct interviews with key
players in your organization to identify their objective/perspectives
regarding the voluntary business. During this on-site visit, we
also “follow an application” through the entire process
to better understand your back-office processes and meet with
key subject matter experts. These visits are followed by telephone
interviews with sales reps and brokers to get a field perspective
on your company’s strengths and weaknesses.
All the information gathered is then presented in a detailed report along with Eastbridge’s recommendations. The report reviews each function, compares it against industry standards, and assigns it one of three ratings: Green (ready for the market); Yellow (below market standards but probably not crucial); Red (a short coming that needs to be addressed in order to be market ready). These ratings form the basis of our recommendations.
