Strategy Development

Through a series of meetings with a team of people you designate, we will help you determine a voluntary business strategy that includes your vision for the future and your differentiators. Specifically, we have a process based on answering eight critical questions. These questions allow us to discuss your strategic approach, your distribution strategy, the types of brokers/distributors that make sense for you, marketing and sales support needed, product requirements, enrollment strategy, and administration. At the end of the process you will know where you will compete and how you will win.

The basic approach for each of the key questions starts with an educational process.  We present detailed information based on our research and extensive experience on the options and/or best practices for that area. Then we discuss where your company currently stands (from the assessment). Armed with this information, we discuss what makes sense for you and then the team makes its decisions. After each meeting and as we proceed from one item to another, we document the decisions made as well as why other options were discarded.  Each time we meet, we first review the decisions previously made to make sure the team is still in agreement. By the end of the process, you will have your business vision, distinct strategies for each area with key differentiators, and short- as well as long-term objectives.
